Mormon Word of Wisdom is iced coffee ok?

'Finally, another small correction: Despite what was reported, the Church revelation spelling out health practices (Doctrine and Covenants 89) does not mention the use of caffeine.  The Church’s health guidelines prohibit alcoholic drinks, smoking or chewing of tobacco, and “hot drinks” — taught by Church leaders to refer specifically to tea and coffee.'

  2. Stop following stupid edicts and rationally study things. Make choices based on reason and science, not the words of some 19th century pretend prophet. The key is moderation.

  3. Someone said to me once: " Anyone with a brain can reason out that the point of the word of wisdom is for us to avoid substances that are addictive or less then supportive of our health." But if that is the truth why are other additive substances not mentioned? Look at this long list of addictive substances:
